Our guest speaker Helen Chatterjee, Professor of Human & Ecological Health at UCL will be giving an Equality and Wellbeing Lecture on Thursday 2nd February 2023 at 4pm in the Main Lecture Theatre at the Department of Zoology. This lecture is supported by the Collections Connections Communities Strategic Research Initiative.

Helen will be talking about ‘why visiting a museum is good for everyone: cultural heritage, health and wellbeing.’

Speaker

Helen Chatterjee is Professor of Human & Ecological Health at UCL. She is also currently the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Research Programme Director for Health Inequalities. Helen co-founded the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance; is an Advisor to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Arts and Health; and is a Founding Trustee of the National Centre for Creative Health. In 2015, she received an MBE for Services to Higher Education and Culture. Helen recently launched the world’s first postgraduate programme in Creative Health – a Masters in Arts and Sciences at UCL.
