1 Feb 2023 17:30-19:00 The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

Description

Enjoy an out-of-hours view of the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology’s latest exhibition, COLOUR: Art, Science and Power, whilst being serenaded by the cast of the ADC Theatre’s upcoming production of Sunday in the Park with George, a musical based on the life of Post-Impressionist artist Georges Seurat. Hear from the show’s director and phenomenal cast, whilst you wander through the gallery and marvel at a study of Seurat’s La Grand Jatte (in the collection of King’s College, Cambridge, on long term loan to the Fitzwilliam Museum and currently on display in COLOUR), around which the show is based.

The evening will run as follows:

5:30 Museum opens

6:00 Performance starts

6:30 Performance finishes

7:00 Event close

The event will be accompanied by a wine reception.
