Theatre historian Nicole Sheriko is joined by a team of student puppet makers to demonstrate a replica of the magical talking head from Friar Bacon, Friar Bungay (1589). Hear stories about the history of magic on the English stage and find out how puppetry and special effects worked in Shakespeare’s day.
