This one-day seminar, convened to coincide with Dr Martin Allen’s retirement from The Fitzwilliam Museum, brings together experts in numismatics and monetary history for a day of fascinating papers. Speakers will present new research on medieval and early modern money using databases and finds, metals analysis, hoards, and written sources – see the full programme.
