There was a time when Quakers frowned on the arts, their dress and meeting spaces were plain and simple. However, modern day Quakers embrace the arts enthusiastically. Quaker – inspired artist, Rory Pilgrim is one of this year’s Turner Prize nominees. Our ‘Creativity Unwrapped’ exhibition will include a wide range of art and crafts by Quakers artists and makers across Cambridgeshire as well as works by our resident studio artist and fashion designer.
