Soheila Sokhanvari’s preferred medium is egg tempera, prepared by hand in the traditional way. In this workshop, she will teach participants how to mix dry pigments to make egg tempera and how to paint miniature paintings with it, using fine brushes. Start your journey with this ancient medium, guided by a contemporary master.
All materials included. Complementary tea and coffee available from 10AM to 10:30AM.
Soheila Sokhanvari (Artist and activist) is a multimedia artist whose solo exhibition We Could Be Heroes… at The Heong Gallery is the occasion for this event. Her previous solo exhibition at the Barbican Curve, Rebel Rebel (2022), was seen by over 75,000 visitors and is opening in ARoS, Aarhus in January 2024.
