Rebekka Katajisto is a Finnish postgraduate student studying the Conservation of Easel Paintings at the Hamilton Kerr Institute. Her current research interests lie in Medieval paintings, with ongoing projects exploring a 15th-century Sienese cassone painting and a 15th century rood screen in the church of St Faith, Kelshall.

She graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA in History of Art in 2019, specialising in altarpiece woodwork and frames. She subsequently completed an MA in Principles of Conservation at the London Institute of Archaeology, University College in 2020. Her dissertation focused on technical art history and its disciplinary belonging.
